Science Room 2.

The second of the science rooms contains a variety of exhibits. There is WWII bombsight

computer and its associated sighting head. The computer is quite sophisticated but it is

of course all mechanical in those days.

There is an RA17 comunication receiver, probably the best ever produced using valve

technology. If requested visitors can use the receiver with an attendant present.

Our extensive collection of home computers now resides in this room dating from the

Sinclair Z80 series just about the first computer designed for the home market.

The photographic equipment display dates from the early years of the 20th century,

all built of brass and mahogany. A working teletype equipment linked to a vintage computer.

There is of course other exhibits on display and equipment to operate.
