We are all looking forward to meeting new and old friends and on our first Open Day of this year Easter Monday.

Open Days 2025

Our Open Days (10:30 am until 4:30 pm) are: -  
  • Easter Monday 21st April   • Sunday August 10th.
  • Early May bank holiday Monday 5th May   • Summer bank holiday Monday 25th August.
  • Spring bank holiday Monday 26th May.   • Sunday 14th September.
  • Sunday 8th June   • Sunday 12th October.
  • Sunday 13th July.  

We are open at other dates and times by prior arrangement, for Group Visits and School Parties see Visiting Us.

Attractions

The Heritage Park, Pitstone Green Museum, is a fascinating blend of attractions from the past, based in the once redundant buildings of an old Victorian farm. Nestling in the shadow of Ivinghoe Beacon, it captures the spirit of a bygone age when life was harder but slower than it is today.

We have more than forty different locations including displays. On our open days, several locations have a volunteer on hand to demonstrate or just answer your questions.

Entertainment varies during the season and may include: -

  • Traction Engine • Hand bell Ringers Medieval Archery

Please note that the Lancaster cockpit exhibit has been relocated to the Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial Museum, Manston Rd, Ramsgate, Kent CT12 5DF.

On our published open days Catering provides hot snacks (bacon roll) to order, assorted filled rolls / sandwiches, hot and cold drinks and a variety of cakes.
